Kapolri and Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture Sign MoU to Enhance Food Availability


 The National Police Chief, General Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si., alongside the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Ir. H. Andi Amran, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing agricultural development in Indonesia. The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Agriculture's headquarters in Jakarta on Thursday (24/4). General Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo expressed the readiness of the police force to support the Ministry of Agriculture's initiatives and policies in national agricultural development.


"We have personnel at our disposal, such as Regional Police Chiefs and Governors, Police Chiefs along with District Heads, as well as Community Policing Officers (Bhabinkamtibmas) and Mobile Brigade (Brimob) units who have been actively involved in cultivating corn fields. Therefore, the President has emphasized the need for us to work diligently in addressing this issue so that together we can resolve food-related challenges," explained General Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.


This collaboration signifies a concerted effort between law enforcement and agricultural sectors to tackle food security issues, leveraging resources and expertise to ensure a sustainable and sufficient food supply for the nation.
